Our cooks and catering teams are fully-trained and experienced to produce a menu of fresh meals each day, in consultation with residents and families. Our homemade, comforting and delicious meals are created with care, to suit all tastebuds and dietary requirements. Whether in our Residential unit or our Nursing unit, our residents are guaranteed a safe, welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable and receive the care they need. We listen to our residents to understand their needs, preferences and wishes and factor this information into the care they receive in our care homes. I bring to the home experience in care of older people in both a nursing and managerial capacity. She always leaned to watch for us, anxious if we were late, In winter by the window, In summer by the gate. And though we mocked her tenderly, who had such foolish care, the long way home would seem more safe because she waited there.

Memories have such loving ways of bringing back our yesterdays. Dearly loved wife of the late Maurice , much loved mother of Ruth and Timothy, mother-in-law of Matthew and Heather and loving grandmother to Benjamin, Lily, Tara and Eliza. A private committal will be followed by a joint Service of Thanksgiving for the lives of Lyla and Maurice in Monkstown Baptist Church on Thursday 6th October at 11.30 a.m. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.

A private service will be followed by interment in Larne Cemetery on Saturday 17th December at 2.30 p.m. Peacefully with his family by his side, dearly-loved husband of Sarah, much-loved father of Ethan and Jessica, loving son of David and Susan and brother of Lynze. A Funeral Service will be held in Ballycarry Old Presbyterian Church on Saturday 29th October at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment in Victoria Cemetery. Donations in lieu, if desired, to NI Hospice c/o Rev. Dr. J. W. Nelson, 102 Carrickfergus Road, Larne, BT40 3JX. He will be loved and remembered always by the entire family circle.
For someone who has left our world a brighter better place. Peacefully at Inver House, late of Greenland Crescent, Larne. Beloved daughter of the late Bob and Hazel and fiance of the late Alex McIlroy. Dearly-loved mum of Julie, cherished granny of Ciara and fiance Gerry and Callum, great-granny of Blake and Alex, devoted sister of Lynne and Robert and a loving sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt.

The tables are laid, the menu is visible and it is a natural opportunity for all our residents to be in the company of others, in a restaurant style environment.
Her thoughts were all so full of us, she never could forget! And so I think that where she is she must be watching yet. Waiting till we come home to her, anxious if we are late, watching from Heaven's window, leaning on Heaven's gate. A smile for all, a heart of gold, one of the best this world could hold.
